FIFE'S FINEST - RRFC
Fife's Finest are a group of like minded individuals who are committed to following Raith Rovers Football Club home and away, supporting and raising money for the club.

Mostly from the Kirkcaldy/Glenrothes area, we were founded some 15 years ago in Glenrothes before merging with a group of supporters from Kirkcaldy about 10 years ago. We hire our own 2 private minibusses to travel to away games and usually leave a lot earlier than the official supporters bus, and yes we have been known to partake in the odd shandy or two !!! Our membership currently stands at around 100.
![]() | We are not simply a bunch of 'loud lads' who boisterously get behind the team; through the years the group has developed from simply a bunch of pals enjoying our 'away days' to a group who are a recognised part of the supporters fabric of Raith Rovers, and have shown to 'have form' when it comes to putting our shoulder to the grind and doing our bit for the club. |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------What We Do - For Raith Rovers
You may have noticed our flag in the Railway Stand on home matchdays, and our fundraising efforts throughout this season have included shirt sponsorship for 3 players, organising a race night to raise money for new players, purchasing 250 official team pictures to hand out to children in the ground and helping out with the organisation of the annual 'Rock the Rovers' concert which raised a considerable amount of money for the Rovers.

Throughout 2007/08 we were shirt sponsors for Paul McManus, and his signed top was then donated to a local charity to raise funds for the local Outreach Project. We also bought training tops for the Rovers youth team, and sponsored and home match, which we do every season On matchdays we do our bit to help the team by getting the atmosphere going and singing for 90 minutes regardless of whether we're winning or not no matter the opposition.

----------------------------------------------------------------What We Do - For our members
For our members we are also more of a social club and run various events to raise funds and just for fun!
We have built good relationships with fans from opposing teams and often enjoy away day 'hospitality' at some of the local pubs, giving every away trip that little bit something special and have enjoyed nights out in Stirling, Cowdenbeath, Forfar and Dumfries after away matches to name but a few! We've also made friends from groups all over the UK who have simply come along for a good night out!

![]() | We also ran our first Player of the Year Dance in May 2007 for our member and guests from RRFC. The event honoured Raith players past and present, as well as recognising the, ahem, 'achievements' of some of our own members throughout the season, some of which most of us would rather forget, and that the winners probably can't! |
Our other 'off the field' activities have included:
- Football matches: 11-a-side, 7-a-side, and tournaments
- assist local charities
We're also known for our legendary Saturday nights out after matches, and our activities continue beyond matchdays! If you want to get in touch or are thinking about becoming a member, either come along to Styx from 12.30pm on home matchdays or email stelios@fifesfinest.co.uk
----------------------------------------------------------------Where You Can Find Us
We are based at Styx in Kirkcaldy before and after matches. We run most of our fundraising events there also, and can be seen strutting our stuff on the dancefloor on a Saturday night and on the Karaoke!
Styx provides matchday hospitality for ourselves and away fans, providing free entry, food and a bus service to and from Stark's Park. With numberous pool tables, multiple Sky channels and some of the cheapest prices in Kirkcaldy, it has a lot to offer on mathdays!
Styx is located at 28a, Victoria Rd, Kirkcaldy, Fife KY1 1DS just round from the Victoria Hotel 5 mins from train station), providing an excellent facility for our members and is central to our fundraising efforts.
We also frequent the Raith Suite for a spell after home matches if you ever want to have a chat with us! At matches you'll find us wherever the noise is - up the back of the South Stand, shouting abuse down the front or on occasion in the main stand on hospitality day! But certainly at away matches you'll hear us singing for 90 minutes!

----------------------------------------------------------------Our Club Ethos
Our ethos is based on 2 principles:
- That fans can have an influence on the team during the 90 minutes
- That being a Raith Rovers fan offers more than a couple of hours entertainment on a Saturday
We see ourselves as a way of channeling like-minded people who are willing to do that little bit extra to get behind the team for 90 minutes, but also provide more to the matchday experience than 2 hours a week at a football match. Together we can use our collective skills, knowlege, experience and ideas to help Raith Rovers Football Club and make being a Raith fan something special, as well as enjoying ourselves!
We are not everybody's idea of a supporters group but in our opinion there are room for all styles of support. Despite our growing numbers, we will still remain true to our roots as a group of mates who will continue to support, help and promote the Rovers in a positive way.
We are simply in it for the love of the 'Vers.
