FIFE'S FINEST 7-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT
Our first ever 7-a-side tournament took place at Balwearie High School on Saturday 30th June 2007, with 6 teams of Rovers fans contesting the trophy. Congratulations go to Ruaridh Kilgour and his teammates from 'Top Fives' who won the tournament by pipping a team from Styx in the last match of the tournament!
In a rain-soaked final match, Top Fives needed a win to finish above Styx and lived up to the challenge by firing to a 2-goal victory!
 | Just like the Pie & Bovril tournament earlier in the month, 2 Fife's Finest teams entered and squared up to each other, with the result once again ending in stalemate despite the inclusion of former Raith and current East Fife player John Martin in the starting lineup for the 'Fife's Finest' team, although despite John scoring one, Peden held up well against the striker in the Stella Strollers goal! |
Other Rovers fans involved players from supporters team FC Cain and some familiar faces from the South Stand captained by Steven Stocks.

A great afternoon followed by a reception at night followed, attended by current Rovers players Marco Pelosi and Stevie Hislop who presented the awards to the winning team, and joined us for one or two jars and some karaoke late into the night!
Congratulations to Top Fives and everyone who put a team into the tournament for a great event, and a huge thanks to Wolfie and the young lad for refereeing!
