Queen's Park 2 Rovers 5
Matchday report by Brian Smith
Top of the table clash today top vrs 2nd and after our performance against Motherwell I was really looking forward to this one - almost as much as Stelly’s party album.
| | The normal 2 buses went through to another ground I’ve never seen a match played in before, last time I was there was to see the shitty Ali McCoist film getting made. The 1st shock of the day was Quinny buying me a pint, I checked to see if it was April 1st and it wasn’t, I wasn’t sure whether to drink it or frame it or even donate it to the Hampden Museum as I’m not too sure when something like that will happen again. |
Onto the game quiet a poor first 30 mins but I must say how impressed I was with the home fans who supported and sang for there team it cant be easy in a big stadium like that to generate an atmosphere but they did, once again the allotted seating for the Rovers faithful had to be increased to accommodate us all and with the impressive Fife’s Finest Flag on display.

The team scored two before half time the 2nd a penalty which Hissy and Weir both wanted to take, I think they were scared Davo would try and take another pen.
2nd half saw a mini collapse by the Rovers and we managed to lose our 2 goals lead in 2 mins but the team rallied and won 5 -2 with Weir getting a hat trick, and my line coming up but he put went to a local bookies called Marvin King and need someone who is going to hampden on Saturday to pick up his winnings Hint Hint there might even be a pint on it
