Xmas Night Out - Stirling 8/12/07

Our xmas night out seen the group take to the streets of Stirling, where excellent hospitality was provided by the Albion Bar. The bar was in good spirits thanks to winning the ‘Best Bar None’ award, and it was great to celebrate with them as they laid on food and complimentary drinks although the only downside was Stelios being allowed to DJ!

Grubby was up to his usual tricks with a memorable and probably unbeatable entry for worst dancer, although not sure about the wig!

Then we took to the streets for a pub crawl taking in O’Neill’s where every jakey in the place had a pop at Clare. Some of the lads went on the ‘hunt’ to the infamous FUBAR (although Alan Logan wasn’t allowed), and as usual PC spent more time getting photos taken than actually chatting anyone up.The rest of the crew headed up to No.2 Baker Street for some live music, which gave Chubby and Blair their chance to shine on the dance floor, before finishing in the Claymore then on to the Albion Bar till the busses picked us up.

And of course some singing in the pubs and streets to let the locals know Fife’s Finest boys were in town! (without the lecture on bigotry from police this time as per the playoff game).

A great night out and improvement on the previous year as we came back with the same number we set out with, probably thanks to Daz being too drunk to remember to turn up in the first place, and Denny Doubtfire behaving himself since he’s now loved up with Stelios’ sister (someone near to his own age for a change!).

Only downside was Mags (Shugs one) revealing she was an East Fife fan (kept that one quiet) although rightly so received a load of abuse on the journey home for her efforts.
