FIFE'S FINEST POOL TOURNAMENT 2008
Our annual pool tournament took place in Styx on Friday 22nd February, with 19 of Fife's Finest looking to claim the accolade of 'pool champion' from reigning champoin Kenny.
The tournament took the format of 4 groups of 5 players playing a round-robin best-of-3 leage, with the top 2 from each group progressing to the quarter-finals.
 | The tournament kicked off at 7 pm and was played throughout the night culminating in the final kicking off at 12.30am, right up till closing-time. After a marathon 6 hours of continous pool, the final was eventually won by the bookies favourite (and some of the lads least favourite!) Steesh in a closely contested final against Gordon Silvestro, finishing 2-1 3rd place was won by Alan Logan Snr., beating Shug in the 3rd place playoff. |
