That basically means that we don't answer to the club and they are not responsible for us, so the next time the club is in trouble due to dodgy businessman we won't wait for permission to protest. Despite being 'unofficial' we continue to do all we can to support the Rovers, both on the terraces and financially just like the rest of the terrific Raith Rovers support! We love the Rovers, we do! |

21/8/11 Rock the Rovers ReturnsRock the Rovers returns to Kirkcaldy for the 7th year running!The annual music event, organised by Fife's Finest, will be held this Sunday (28th August 2011) at Kitty's and Styx and looks set to be another cracker with 20 of the best bands from Fife and the surrounding area.Tickets are £10 for a day pass, and there will be regular shuttle busses running between the 2 venues.Click here to see a list of this years bands, times and sponsors |  |
31/5/11 - Fife's Finest 7s 2011This year's 7-a-side tournament, which is being played in honour of Rovers fan Adam Vallot who tragically died earlier this year, is being played at Kirkcaldy High School on Saturday 4th June, 1.30pm kick off followed by food in Styx afterwards. The draw was done exclusively in the pub on Sunday. |
29/5/11 - Lucy Ednie Trophy comes back with us!Yes folks, a fantastic weekend in Woking saw us return to Kirkcaldy with the Lucy Ednie Trophy. But only because we nicked it! Cause we got well and truly horsed at fitba'! But hey, let's see the Woking lads drink for 27 hours straight with only a couple of hours sleep inbetween! And hopefully we will as they're not getting the trophy back unless they come up to Kirkcaldy next year. A brilliant weekend with the Woking lads, where we helped to raise a conisderable amount of money for Ovarian Cancer Action. |  |

17/5/11 AGM and Darts Tournament this SaturdayOur annual general meeting for members is this Saturday at 1pm in Styx. All members are asked to attend as we will be discussing the running of the club and the bus for next season; nominating new committee members; allocating roles; and, for those going to Woking, the lowdown on the trip next week. We will also be taking names for the 7s and Pie & Bovril tournaments. After the AGM we will be having our 3rd annual darts tournament, and all members are invited along on the day to take part. |  |
5/5/11 - Grubby is a silly cuntBut we all knew that anyway! Yes, it was award time last Saturday night in DV8 and Coling Carruthers, the reigning 'Silly Cunt' was delighted to pass on his title to our very own Grubby. Worst Drunk was claimed by Thommo for the 3rd year running, and probably the last thanks to Ali Wallace turning 18! There were of course player and former player awards, and you can see a list of awards plus pictures of the event here. |  |
