ROVERS SONGS CD

Fife's Finest in conjunction with local band Crooked Jack are taking a lead in producing a brand new Rovers songs collection.

It's been 15 years or so since Crooked Jack produced the last Rovers songs album, and together we are looking at creating a new one written, performed and produced by Rovers fans.

The aim is to produce a songs album along with an accompanying 'fanzine-style' lyrics booklet complete with fans pictures, and we are currently appealing for the following:

• Songs written about Raith or Kirkcaldy
• Musicians who are Rovers fans who would like to perform some tracks
• A producer for the album

This is offer is open to all Raith fans to enable us to produce a true fans album, which will hopefully be around for another decade or so and increase our reportoire of songs. The more original the better, as we'd like songs that are specific to Raith and Kirkcaldy that no other football club can copy.

If you'd like to contribute, please send us an email to asongfortherovers@fifesfinest.co.uk which includes: Your name, contact details, contribution you'd like to make (i.e. song writer, instrument player, producer) and if you are contributing a song please write the lyrics and if possible the tune.

This is the first point for progressing an initial idea, so we are on the lookout for people with ideas to make this album a success. All money raised from the album will go towards the Rovers.
