ROCK THE ROVERS 4 - SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST 2008
 | On Sunday 24th August 2008, Kirkcaldy's biggest and best annual music festival returned to Halrem & Candlerooms, organised once again by Quinny and Fife's Finest, with help and support from other Rovers fans and organsations,for a 12-hour marathon featuring 20 of fife's finest bands - and all in aid of Raith Rovers and local charity! This years' fantastic effort raised £6116.51 (where the hell did the 51p come from!?!?!), with £2500 being split between the following 5 charities
The remaining £3616.51 will be dontated to the Rovers, and a cheque presentation will take place at Stark's Park in September. |
From the moment the first act came on at 1pm, Halrem & Candlerooms were packed with music-lovers, Raith fans and folk just there for the bevvy! (or all 3 - the usual suspects no doubt!). Below are a selection of pictures from the day. You know what they say about Rock the Rovers - if you can remember it, you weren't there!
